On 3 December 2015, SGSCC disAbility celebrated the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), at our Jannali Centre.

IDPwD is a United Nations sanctioned day that is celebrated internationally. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability.

SGSCC disAbility clients entertained the crowd with musical performances including keyboard, singing and dancing. An outdoor art show also took place, displaying beautiful client artworks around the college.

The Sutherland Local Area Command (LAC) from the NSW Police Force and Iron Man and Black Widow from The Superhero Experience, who joined us for the morning tea, helping to celebrate empowerment and inclusion amongst the community.
